Finance Report

- Current Assets as of
April 30, 2007: $72,625.28
- Monies have been
received from fundraising.
Safety:
- Breakaway bases have
been installed at the NAF. NAF is trying to determine force needed to
breakaway bases. WLL has recommended changing magnets to lower force.
- LL
requires breakaway bases at all levels in 2008.
D8/NAF/Interleague
- Woodinville West (WWLL)
has the first game scheduled on Field 5.
- Manual scoreboard for
Field 5 has been built and installed, thank you John Hamilton (WLL).
- NAF
is discussing changes to scoreboards on other fields.
Games / WLL Tournament / TOC
- Feedback about Majors
interleague play: WLL uses game results in standings but North Bothell (NBLL)
does not use games in standings.
- Implementation differences in pitch counting has been
handled at each game.
- WLL
Minors and Majors Tournament: Last regular season games on 5/12. First
tournament games on 5/13. There is no pitch count reset at the start of the
tourament. Championship games to be on 5/23-24. Schedule is posted on WLL
website.
- TOC:
Tournament games start date is 5/29.
- WLL
is responsible for pins and web site updates/schedule/posting. All games
results for all teams/leagues/games go through WLL coaching coordinator.
Umpires are using the D8 website for scheduling.
All Stars:
- Player commitment forms
must be completed and turned in by 5/6/07
- Players and coaches vote
around mid-May.
- Teams to be announced on
6/15/2007.

Jamboree: Fundraising brought in more than
expected/budgeted.
Committee shows $9,616 deposit.

Board Members:
- Need
an email from all current BOD if they are planning on
returning for next season or not.
- Board/Umpire
appreciation dinner: June 10th at Italianissimo. Kathi & Eric to talk with restaurant
about menu.
LL Int’l/ D8:
- WLL
requires Social Security number for all volunteer applications which are run
through Choicepoint.
- Current count of
approved volunteers is 239.
- LL
has eliminated population limits but frozen current boundaries.
Other:
- Need
to consider benches for Bear Creek Elementary.
- The
Cottage
Lake backstop needs
repair.
- Player agents to
distribute and collect confidential manager/coach evaluations in mid-May.
- Managers are responsible
for locking school district gates where applicable.
