Treasurer’s
Report

Balance Sheet

Current Assets $91,821.06
·
Collected $64,000 from registration, with $2,200+
more monies still coming in. This is
over our projected budget.
·
All Star Uniforms on the Balance Sheet are from
2006, due to late bills. Need to improve
on cost control and collect proper amounts from parents of players on All Star
Teams.
·
Discussion of how to pay for things when Board
members are acting on behalf of the league.
Copies of an invoice that was signed needs to be given to the Treasurer
for reconciliation.
·
Equipment:
Mounds and Pitching Machines purchased.
Payment to be made and equipment to be picked up soon. Cost authorized in December, 2006
NAF/D8 Report
- Scott
Thornber has volunteered to help with NAF facilities.
- Repairs
on Field 5 in progress. The plan to
be ready by start of regular season games on 3/18.
- Improvements
to other fields in progress, including grading, grass, breakaway bases,
improved dugouts and backstops.
- Improved
Concession Stand with espresso.
- Safety
Plan is at final review stage – Roger
Secretary Items
- Volunteer
applications are flowing in.
Periodic updates on approved members are posted on the WLL web
site.
- WLL
has been doing background checks for volunteers against the Washington
State Patrol web site.
- Little
League International requires an additional background check via
ChoicePoint, a nationwide database.
We get 80 free checks, then it is $1 per check after that. We will have more than 80 people to
check.

Fields
- Currently
scheduling for practices and games
- WLL
gets to use East Ridge, Bear Creek, Wellington. We get a smaller amount of usage at Cottage Lake this year, but we get most of
the usage at Timbercrest Jr Hi.
- Working
on improving communication of open practice slots for teams that have
games whose practice fields, as a result, are available.
- Bear
Creek dugouts need benches.
- Discussed
moving East Ridge
equipment box closer to the fields.
- Equipment
boxes will be replenished. If
equipment and supplies go missing or get used, please inform the fields
managers.
- Field
Days: March 10 & 11 at the
school fields and NAF Fields. More
details to follow via email.
Player Review:
- Successful
BB Player Review for all levels.
Thank you to all to helped make it a success.
- BB
announcements can be made by Managers starting at 4pm on Friday, February
16, 2007
- Need
additional “penny jerseys” for tryouts.
Brian has current inventory.
- Softball
Player Review also went well. 17
teams for softball at all levels, combining Woodinville/Woodinville West
Sponsorships/Fundraising:

- Jamboree: Gift baskets created and donated by each
team for the Jamboree raffle.
- Other
prizes will also be raffled off.
Prizes are TBA.
- Games
to be scheduled the same day as the Jamboree, and most will be completed
in the AM. Teams are asked to
encourage their players to remain, participate in events, and join in the
prize raffles.
- Softball
game(s) should also be scheduled
- Concession
stand to be open early, (w/ espresso).
A percentage of the proceeds to be given to WLL.
- Window
Clings will also be for sale.
- Events
include base running, pitching, home run, dunk tank, and perhaps a few
others.
Mariners Day for WLL
May 19, 20 and June 3
Form coming soon.
Deadline to purchase will be April 21st (Jamboree
Day)
