Treasurer’s
Report – Sue Scheid: The
balance in the WLL checking account is $57,854.97. There is a total of $10,118.69 in the
savings account for a total balance of $67,973.66. We had $33,106.12 in registration income and
$2710.00 in sponsorship contributions.
The expenses were insurance, field maintenance fund, Big League
Connection and some player refunds, for a total expense for February of
$7,189.41
Registration
- Rob Schwend: People are still trying to register – mostly
younger players. Have waiting list for
Juniors and Seniors – probably will not get in.
Few spots in T-Ball available.
Six hundred registrations.
What
worked – Online generally successful, few technical issues, hotmail account to
get questions answered worked well.
Most people responded to advertising schools, signs, etc. No questions about fee increase. What didn’t work - CMI some issues – work on
payment and how it is handled, there was no connection between volunteers and
players/parents.
Ideas
for next year – close before Christmas break, using email addresses to remind
people to register. May still need to
have one night of face to face registration, possibly have coaches fill out a
form of recommended level each kid should play next year and give to league for
reference. Use new email addresses to
advertise registration.
Safety
– Dave Kummerlowe: Safety clinic was very
good. Saturday March 5 AED training at
fire station. Coaching Clinics scheduled

TOC
Update – Brad Powell: Discussion regarding ending regular season early and having our
interleague tournament for good practice in tournament play. Decision was made to play an interleague
tournament - Charlie will modify the
schedule to accommodate this. Northshore
has pulled out of TOC. We have six
leagues participating.
Woodinville
Parade – we will not participate next year
Discussed
having team pictures down at the complex next year during the jamboree to get
people down there for fundraisers
Patches
on shoulders is a Little League rule but mainly carried out with All Stars. Rob will follow up with the District
Administrator to make a decision on this.
Field
Update – David Vintertun: Work has been
done by the field committee. Things in
pretty good shape but may need to put another box at Cottage Lake.

was adjourned at 7:55 pm.
