Financial Report - Sue
- To date WLL has a total of
$75,437.20 total income.
- We are still expecting
about 10 registrants to pay in full.
Registration
- Registration is unequivocally
done!
- Since February we have
added 7 T-ballers, 2AA, 1 AA, 4 Juniors, 1 Senior and 2 softballers
- WLL has a total of 626
players (546 baseball and 80 softball)
- It has been suggested to
look into online registration for next year.
- Checking Woodinville
West’s success may shed some insight.
Game Schedules
Sponsors/Fundraisers
- To date we have a total of
7 new sponsors
- May 7th is
Little League day: Husky Baseball, vs. Stanford, tickets are $5.00 with a
net gain of $3.00
Important Dates:
- Practice began 3/1
- Picture Day was 3/15
- Field day prep was 3/20
- Jamboree was 3/27
- Games started 3/29
Coaching Clinic
- Both the pitching and
batting clinics were well attended, feedback to Rob would be appreciated.
- Individual clinics took
place the 3/6
- Tom Dudin coaches clinic
was held 3/7 at WCC gym
Safety & Pictures
- Safety plan submitted on
WLL web site
- Mike Hellbock conducted 2
first aid clinics and was excellent
- Most first aid kits have
found and distributed
- AED class scheduled for
3/6
- Photo day was 3/13 at
Timbercrest
- Next year this may be
moved to a later date after basketball season
Jamboree Update: at
the complex 3/27
- There is to be marching in
the parade
- Home Run Derby
- Vendors there
- Mariner Tickets for sale
(200 seats available @ $10.00 a pop)
- Three tents have been
reserved so far in case of rain
- T-shirts will be giving to
all volunteers
Reports and Non-Agenda
Items
- Uniforms: check into S
& P Design as they have very reasonable prices
- Extra keys were made for
the gates and storage areas and were distributed
- Third base is missing from
Bear Creek (hopefully someone found it)
- Is the Complex worth
playing games at in the future? The cost per game is $50-70.00 as opposed
to $10-20.00 at school fields.
- It has been proposed to
introduce a Sportsmanship award in memory of Todd Madsen.
