Position |
Description |
|
|
President |
Responsible for all
operations of league. Represents league to Washington District 8 (D8)
and Little League Baseball (LL). Enforces LL rules and policies. Works
with BOD to establish budget, local rules, and policies. |
|
|
VP |
Assists league
President. Oversees player review, and assists with the administration
of All Stars. Can include same for BB, SB & JR/SR. |
|
|
Secretary |
Responsible for
taking minutes at BOD meetings. Duties include securing BOD meeting
locations, after BOD approval of minutes submitting for web posting, and
can include Post Office Box (POB) mail distribution plus background
check information collection plus data entry in ChoicePoint. |
|
|
Treasurer |
Responsible for
financial records. Duties include assisting in the establishing of a
budget, keeping financial records, making deposits to league bank
account, paying bills, and monthly financial reports to the President &
BOD. Coordinates information for annual filings. |
|
|
Safety Officer |
Responsible for
writing annual safety plan in LL approved format. Duties include setting
up the mandatory annual safety clinic & keeping attendance roster,
maintaining & distributing safety kits to all managers, and monthly
safety reports to the President & BOD. |

|
Umpire-in-Chief
(UIC) |
Responsible for
umpires (UMP). Duties include recruiting umpires, maintaining and
communicating UMP contact list, promoting D8 UMP training, UMP
communication to the President & BOD. Additional duties can include
serving on the manager selection committee, assisting with local rules,
local UMP training, and coordinating UMP equipment with equipment
manager. Will work with co-league, inter-league, plus special games and
can include same for BB, SB & JR/SR. |

Rental Director |
Responsible for
obtaining all school field permits from Northshore School District (NSD)
for BB, SB, & JR/SR plus acting as the league liaison to NSD. Additional
responsibilities include working with Fields Manager to coordinate
Fields Day. |
|
|
Scheduler |
Responsible for
scheduling of practices & games. Duties include keeping all reservation
records plus helping to reconcile reservations to invoices. Will work
with co-league, inter-league, special games, and/or NAF schedulers and
can include same for BB, SB & JR/SR. |
|
|
Coaching Coordinator |
Responsible for
manager communications. Duties include coordinating the manager
application process, serving on the manager selection committee, and
ensuring managers report game scores & pitching reports during regular
season plus tournaments (except All Stars). Can include same for BB, SB
& JR/SR. |
|
|
Equipment Manager |
Responsible for
management of equipment. Duties include purchase of replacements for
worn/damaged equipment & purchase of balls, distribution at start of
season & collection at end of season, and maintaining inventory stored
in the league container at the NAF. Can include same for BB, SB & JR/SR. |
|
|
Information Officer
(IO) |
Responsible for web
site postings. Member of Technology Committee. |
|
|
Registrar |
Responsible for
online registration process. Duties include maintaining the league
database for all BB & SB players plus volunteers, works with Treasurer
on manual registration monies & refund requests, and prepares final LL
roster. |
|
|
NAF Representative |
Responsible to the
league President & BOD. Voting representative for WLL at the NAF & NAF
BOD member. Duties include reporting to President & BOD, inter-league
coordination, recruiting NAF volunteers. |
|
|
Sponsorships |
Development of
Community Partners. Duties include identifying financial supporters,
soliciting & renewal of local business outfield advertising signs at the
NAF, procurement of donations, promoting awareness of corporate
matching, and working with Events Coordinator for fundraising. |
|
|
Events Coordinator |
Responsible for
league events. Duties include planning & coordinating the Jamboree
fundraiser (activities include Team Baskets & Base Running), and
supporting other events. Events can include Mariners Day, UW Husky BB
and SB, Woodinville Hi BB and SB, and City of Woodinville parade, etc.
Work with other volunteers on Umpire/BOD appreciation dinner. |

Field Manager |
Responsible for
equipment at NSD School fields plus City fields. NSD Fields include East
Ridge, Bear Creek, Cottage Lake, Wellington, Timbercrest, and Leota.
Duties include stocking & maintaining locking containers (including pegs
& bases, markers & cones, tape measures, drags, portable mounds, chalk,
etc.). Works with Fields Director to make Fields Day happen. |

Uniform Manager |
Responsible for
player uniforms. Duties include selection of team names, purchasing &
distributing uniforms for both regular season plus All Stars, and can
include same for BB, SB & JR/SR. |
|
|
Picture Day
Coordinator |
Responsible for
managing photographer vendor. Duties include selection of vendor,
securing with Secretary indoor location for pictures, scheduling teams
for picture day, and working with Registrar on electronic photo roster. |
|
|
BB Tournament
Director |
Responsible for
Woodinville BB League Championship Tournament (LCT). Duties include
establishing LCT format & assisting with LCT rules, works with scheduler
& UIC to ensure success of tournament, responsibility for LCT awards to
include trophies & medals, and can include same duties for the
Tournament of Champions (TOC). |

Player Agent (PA) |
PA's can be named
for all levels of BB (including Big League (BIG), Junior/Senior (JR/SR),
Majors (MJ), Minors (MN), AAA, AA, Rookie (RK), T-Ball (TB)) and for all
levels of SB. Duties include working with Registrar on numbers of
players & volunteers, working with Coaching Coordinator to ensure there
is a manager for each team, formation of teams (all JR/SR & MJ & MN
teams use a player review and draft process, all AAA & lower teams are
assigned based on skill criteria), and assisting parents with league
questions. |

VP BB JR/SR |
Responsible for
operations of BB JR/SR as part of WLL. Duties include reporting to
President & BOD, coordinating with coaching coordinator & scheduler &
equipment/uniform managers, co-league & inter-league coordination,
recruiting JR/SR volunteers, and can include manager selection, player
review & draft, etc. |

VP SB |
Responsible for
operations of SB as part of WLL. Duties include reporting to President &
BOD, coordinating with coaching coordinator & scheduler &
equipment/uniform managers, co-league & inter-league coordination,
recruiting SB volunteers, and can include manager selection, player
review & draft, etc. |
